Tentay Patis was founded in 1949 by Ruperta Javier, or well known as Aling Tentay. For more than 60 years, Tentay Patis been making consistently making quality and safe Patis (fish sauce). The company was managed now by Velia J. Cruz, president of Tentay Food Sauces Inc. and Aling Tentay’s daughter. She maintains the standards of using the natural fermentation process set by her mom.
It guaranteed that all ingredients are 100% pure and all natural. They are using the freshest fish and salt that are combined thoroughly and fermented for one year. The company always making sure that there is quality and safety while doing the process.
Tentay Patis complies with the country’s international food safety standards set by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The company is not only well known in the Philippines but also distributing their products internationally and with the standards set by export markets such as the US, Canada, Japan, the Middle East, and Europe. Tentay Patis has become a permanent presence in kitchens and family meals.
