Farmtec Foods, Incorporated was originally set up as a micro enterprise in 1989 by Mr. and Mrs. Fabian G. Espiritu. The company is one of the major producers of dehydrated food ingredients and expanded its line of business with three products such as Chilli Powder, Tamarind Powder, and Shrimp Powder which are being distributed to limited customers. At present, the organization has at least 15 regular products being supplied to more than 70 manufacturers and distributors in the country. Because of the increasing demand for healthy food products, the organization also focuses on producing herbal products and/or blends. The company is also certified by GMP, HACCP, and ISO 22000:2005 by SGS Philippines, Inc.
Some of the services they offer are tolling services for local food processors – drying, pulverizing, and blending, heat treatment and sterilization services, custom blending of ingredients and other food preparation of dry and liquid mixes, and toll packaging in consumer packs.
