Castillejos de Zambales pays homage to Ma. Lourdes “Nani” Labrador and her life’s mission of showcasing world-class Filipino fruit preserves. In 1986, Nani established Castillejos Agri-Farms, Inc. to recreate the homemade jams and jellies of her grandmother, Perfecta del Fierro Magsaysay. She further improved her Lola Pitang’s authentic heirloom recipes by applying her Nutrition and Dietetics background from Cornell University.
As a result of her passion and innovation, she succeeded in creating a line of well-loved preserves, jams and chutneys that have the perfect balance of sweet and tart, and sold under the brand name Castillejos, her beloved hometown in Zambales. Taking inspiration from Nani’s culinary excellence and deep sense of family, we continue her legacy by carefully creating specialty fruit preserves under the Castillejos de Zambales label.
Castillejos de Zambales jams only use locally sourced farm-fresh ingredients naturally preserved without chemicals or extenders, and produced by age-old, handcrafted methods passed down through generations.
