Saret Organic Farmville was founded in March 2013 by Engr. Guillermo “Jun” Saret Jr. Together with his children Paul Gerard Saret and Ruth Felice Saret, they officially started their business operations in February 2014. The main purpose of their social agribusiness is to help the marginalized farmers and micro-entrepreneurs enter the market place and improve their lives.
With the help of the Department of Agriculture, Department of Trade and Industry, and Department of Science and Technology, Saret Organic Farmville is now supporting more than 8 farmer groups or more than 30 individuals from farmer families, associations, and cooperatives. Saret Organic Farmville has also successfully launched 6 brands in the food & beverage and herbal industries including Chocoliz and Just Organic.
