Agriko Multi-Trade & Enterprise Corp., is a family business focusing social entrepreneurship. Gerry Paglinawan grew up in Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur to a low-income farming livelihood. Struggling to make ends meet, Gerry Paglinawan used his natural talent as an artist to work abroad in Vietnam as furniture designer. During is 15 years in Vietnam, he was involved in voluntary community service work, eventually becoming the Samahang Pinoy President (a Filipino community in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) and the Honorary Consulate General of the Philippines to Vietnam.
After witnessing a variety of health problems abroad, Gerry Paglinawan and his family moved to the Philippines and started a business using his passion and forte: art and agriculture. Agriko was created as a social enterprise ultimately manufacturing products that give people the option of living a healthier life, promote sustainable agriculture practices through natural and organic farming, and supporting families with a fulfilling livelihood.
