Duran Farm Agribusiness and Training Center Association, Inc. is an Agricultural Cooperative specializing in quality and affordable vegetable seedlings sourced from East-West Seed Company. The seedlings are sold to farmers and backyard hobbyists who don’t have the advantage of time developing them. This makes planting less demanding and the survival rate of these seedlings is higher compared with physically sowing the seeds specifically on ground plots.
Duran Farm operates on a six-unit greenhouse seedling production project where it produces 2,500 trays of various kinds of vegetable seedlings per month. The 2 .0 hectares vegetable production area is being planted with various vegetables in rotation such as eggplant, peppers (sweet, hot and finger), tomato, ampalaya, patola and cucumber. Their farm is also open for people who want to experience and enjoy planting rice and vegetables, as well as harvesting to packaging.
