Labo Progressive Multi-Purpose Cooperative (LPMPC)

Labo Progressive Multi-Purpose Cooperative (LPMPC) is an agricultural cooperative that produces natural pineapple products like juice drink, dried fruit, fiber, cloth, and others. It was organized on September 11, 1987, by Mrs. Nelly C. Jariel, and started as a Paluwagan. The paluwagan then transformed into a cooperative on January 25, 1990, through the initiative of the Department of Agriculture (DA) and was registered with the Bureau of Agricultural Cooperative Development (BACOD). The members of the group were market vendors and farmers who sell their products during market days at Labo Public Market.

The cooperative also provides financial services to Small Scale Enterprises (SSEs) in a form of Business Loans and Savings, Agricultural Loans; and Non-Financial services in the form of Financial Literary training, New Business Creation Course, Business Continuity Planning, DRR Trainings and the likes.
